Tom has been a Brooksville resident for over 10 years.
Tom was invited by the Tampa field office of the FBI to attend the FBI Citizens Academy.The Citizens Academy was developed to join Community Leaders and the FBI to better work together.
Tom’s past work experience includes: Quality Assurance Manager for various Defense subcontractors e.g.- United Avionics.
Tom changed careers in the late 1990’s to Environmental Health and Safety Management in Industrial and Chemical Facilities. Tom’s main responsibilities included developing programs, policies, training and procedures all designed to make sure that employees went home in the same condition they arrived in.
Tom is currently the Corporate Environmental Safety Manager (EHS Manager) for Intrepid Power Boats in Largo, Fl.
Tom is also a public speaker at various events including the West Central Florida Safety Alliance (WCFSA) and on more than one occasion has been a featured speaker at the Safety Now Workshops.
Tom is also an Independent Environmental, Health & Safety Consultant and has a Permanent Certification as a Certified Environmental Compliance Manager (CECM).
Tom’s hobbies include writing as well as creative photography.
